Week beginning 9th January- Begin simple research
Week beginning 16th January- Find examples of front covers, contents pages and double page spreads. Begin to analyse them using vocabulary I have learnt in lesson time.
Week beginnings 23rd January- finish my analyses of magazines, and begin to draw up shot plans and basic designs for my own magazine for the prelim task, including colour schemes, fonts and layout.
Week beginning 30th January- whilst referring to shot plans and magazine designs, begin to choose colours and fonts, experiment with these, and record your findings.
Week beginning 6th February- I will start to use Photoshop to create my prelim task, by doing this, I will be preparing to use the programme better when it comes to the main task.

Week beginning 6th February- I will start to use Photoshop to create my prelim task, by doing this, I will be preparing to use the programme better when it comes to the main task.
Week beginning 13th February- After working with Photoshop tools for a week, I should now be more confident to use some of the more advanced tools within the programme. Now I can begin to edit my photos, with the rubber stamp tool, and use glow or drop shadows on my text where appropriate.
Week beginning 20th February- Finish my prelim task. Begin to write all content for my final magazine, as well as designing mock-ups on paper.
Week beginning 27th February- I start looking for suitable fonts my final magazine. Make sure the fonts are available in Photoshop, as there are only limited texts. Begin to create basic outline of my front cover.
Friday 2nd March- Book camera equipment for next week (the 5th) and make sure that all shot plans for my final magazine are ready to be taken onto the site where the photos will be taken.
Monday 5th March- Take all photos during the course of 5 hours’ worth of lessons. Take at least 3 photos for each shot, and use the tripods and lights for good pictures. If all photos are taken, begin to choose the best, and edit them.
12th March- Dedicate lesson to finding the best pictures and editing them top the correct sizes.
Week beginning 12th March- begin importing pictures into your basic outlines for your final magazine. Focus mainly on front cover. Then begin adding text, titles, and puffs to front cover.
Week beginning 26th March- focus on contents page, all plans should be on paper, so must only be transposed onto Photoshop.
Week beginning 2nd April- Begin work on DPS, use photo as background and import the already written article into Photoshop.
Week beginning 9th April- Complete Evaluation to the best of my ability until deadline day. Action any feedback if necessary
